Russia is the largest country in the world and covers 6.6 million square miles. Three-quarters of that land is arable. There is a common assumption that Russia is a cold and unforgiving terrain, but that is not entirely true. While Russia does have its fair share of icy areas, there are also large areas of plains, mountains, and everything in between.
